Job Title: Channel Head – IFA
Department: Sales / Distribution
Reports to: National Sales Head / Business Head
Job Summary:
The Channel Head – IFA will be responsible for leading, managing, and growing the Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) distribution channel across regions. The role involves developing strategic relationships with top IFAs, ensuring revenue and AUM growth, and managing a team of Regional Sales Managers or Relationship Managers.
Key Responsibilities:

Channel Strategy & Planning:

Develop and implement the IFA channel strategy aligned with AMC’s overall sales goals.

Drive IFA channel sales to achieve AUM and SIP targets.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals focused on the IFA segment.

Monitor performance metrics and ensure effective team training and development.

Business Development:

Build strong relationships with top IFAs to increase market penetration.

Identify new business opportunities and potential IFAs in untapped markets.

Product & Market Intelligence:

Coordinate with the product team to roll out new schemes relevant to the IFA channel.

Monitor competition and market trends, providing insights to drive business strategy.

Compliance & Reporting:

Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory guidelines (SEBI, AMFI).

Provide regular performance reports and updates to senior leadership.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Deep understanding of mutual fund products and distribution models.

Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Data-driven decision-making and strategic thinking.

Knowledge of SEBI and AMFI regulations.
Qualifications:

Graduate (mandatory); MBA/PGDM in Finance or Marketing (preferred)

NISM Series V-A certification is mandatory.

8–15 years of relevant experience in mutual fund distribution, preferably with a focus on IFA channel management.
