Production Engineer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities.

• Develop and implement production plans in coordination with the planning department.

• Lead, train, and motivate production staff to achieve output and quality targets.

• Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing to minimize downtime.

• Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards and implement corrective actions for deviations.

• Identify and resolve production issues promptly using strong problem-solving skills.

• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes for improved efficiency and reduced waste.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and project execution.

• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.

• Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all safety regulations.

• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external vendors.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field.

• 3–7 years of experience in production supervision

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.

• Proven skills in manpower handling, process optimization, and project management.

• Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
