Assistant Manager Data Analyst

Job Description:

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team in Gurgaon. In this role, you will be responsible for managing high-volume data, ensuring data quality, and providing critical analytical support to drive data-informed decision-making. You will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to develop and maintain data marts, automate reporting processes, and generate insightful dashboards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Data Mart Management: Prepare and maintain data marts in collaboration with IT.
• Data Integrity: Perform data reconciliation, identify and resolve quality issues, and ensure data integrity.
• Testing & Validation: Conduct acceptance testing of IT data developments and provide sign-off.
• Automation & Efficiency: Automate reports and tasks, providing insights for IT development to streamline processes.
• Reporting & Analysis: Develop regular/ad-hoc reports, analyse claims/policy/demographic data, and support business planning and provide meaningful evidence-based insights for Critical making.
• Dashboard Development: Create interactive dashboards in Qliksense/data bricks / python visualize KPIs and trends, extracting actionable insights.
• Stakeholder Communication: Address data requests from stakeholders accurately and promptly.
• Documentation: Maintain SOPs and ensure adherence to processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Specialization in Insurance, Technology, Statistics will be preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in managing high-volume data, generating reports, and performing data analysis and reporting.
• 1-2 years data analysis experience within the insurance industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Databricks Pyspark, Python, SQL, or Qliksense programming and dashboarding and advance excel mandatory.
• Understanding of Insurance Business and Reinsurance Treaties (Calculations / Reporting) will be preferred

Skills:

• Mandatory technical skills -  Proficient in Databricks PySpark, Python or Quick Sense dashboarding/programming and also proficient in advance Excel formulas
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
