Job Description:
A Head of Department (HOD) Mechanical for a 100 TPD DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) plant would be responsible for the overall mechanical maintenance and operations of the DRI plant. This includes managing all mechanical equipment, planning and executing maintenance activities, and ensuring the plant operates efficiently and safely. The role would require strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan for the DRI plant, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Plan and coordinate major maintenance shutdowns and overhaul activities.
- Manage the mechanical aspects of projects, including capital improvements and renovations.

Team Management:
- Lead and supervise a team of mechanical engineers, technicians, and mechanics.
- Ensure the team is properly trained and qualified to perform their duties.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.

Technical Expertise:
- Have a deep understanding of DRI technology and related mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and recommend solutions.
