Job Description:
A Mechanical Shift Incharge (DRI 100TPD) in a Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) plant, also known as a sponge iron plant, is responsible for overseeing and managing the mechanical aspects of production during a specific shift. This includes ensuring smooth and safe operation of all mechanical equipment, maintaining the plant's mechanical infrastructure, and addressing any mechanical issues that arise. They also play a crucial role in coordinating with other departments and teams to ensure efficient and effective production.
Key Responsibilities:

Production Operations:Overseeing and managing the mechanical aspects of the DRI plant during the assigned shift, ensuring all mechanical equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Maintenance:Ensuring that all mechanical equipment is maintained in good working condition, including performing routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks.

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving any mechanical issues that may arise during production, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.

Team Leadership:Supervising and coordinating with the mechanical team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

Safety:Ensuring that all mechanical operations are conducted safely and in compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
