Job Description:
A Shift Incharge Quality DRI's primary responsibility is to oversee and ensure the quality of the DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) process during a specific shift, while also managing and coordinating operational activitiesThis role involves quality control, production management, maintenance, and safety, with a focus on meeting production targets and ensuring compliance with quality standards. 
 
Here's a more detailed breakdown of the job duties:
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Control:
    • Monitoring and controlling the DRI process to maintain consistent quality and adhere to established standards. 
       
    • Performing quality checks at various stages of the DRI process to identify and address any issues. 
       
    • Ensuring that the final DRI product meets the required specifications and quality standards. 
       
  • Production Management:
    • Planning daily production, managing the production process, and ensuring that production targets are met. 
       
    • Coordinating with other teams to ensure a smooth and efficient production flow. 
       
    • Monitoring and controlling production costs. 
       
  • Maintenance:
    • Ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and that maintenance is performed according to schedule. 
       
    • Addressing any equipment issues or breakdowns during the shift to minimize downtime. 
       
  • Safety:
    • Ensuring that all personnel adhere to safety regulations and protocols. 
       
    • Identifying and addressing any potential safety hazards. 
       
  • Team Management:
    • Supervising and directing the work of the shift team, including assigning tasks and providing guidance. 
       
    • Motivating and inspiring the team to achieve production targets and maintain quality standards. 
       
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Maintaining accurate records of production, quality control, and maintenance activities. 
       
    • Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to achieve company goals. 
       
    • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the shift.
