Travel and Logistic Cordinator

Job Summary:
The Travel and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for organizing and overseeing all travel arrangements and logistics operations for employees, products, and materials across various retail locations. This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and efficient coordination of transportation, while complying with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Travel Coordination:

Arrange domestic and international travel for staff, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and visas.

Maintain and update travel calendars and itineraries.

Ensure adherence to corporate travel policies and budgets.

Resolve travel-related issues promptly, including last-minute changes and emergencies.
2. Logistics and Supply Chain Support:

Coordinate the movement of goods between warehouses, retail outlets, and suppliers.

Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and update stakeholders regularly.

Handle documentation for inbound/outbound shipments, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs clearance.

Work with 3PL partners and freight forwarders to optimize cost and delivery time.
3. Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

Liaise with travel agents, transportation providers, freight carriers, and customs brokers.

Negotiate contracts and rates with travel and logistics service providers.

Evaluate vendor performance regularly and recommend improvements.
4. Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and import/export regulations.

Maintain accurate records of all travel and logistics transactions.

Prepare periodic reports on logistics KPIs, cost analysis, and travel expenses.
5. Coordination and Communication:

Serve as the central point of contact for travel and logistics inquiries.

Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, finance, and HR teams for smooth operations.

Provide logistics support for retail events, store openings, and product launches.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in travel and logistics coordination, preferably in the retail industry.

Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS) and MS Office Suite.

Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
