Job Description:
A C&I (Control and Instrumentation) Engineer in the power industry focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that control and monitor power generation, transmission, and distribution processes. These engineers ensure efficient and safe operation of power equipment, using a range of instruments, sensors, and automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities of a C&I Engineer in the Power Industry:

System Design and Development:Developing control systems for power generation equipment like generators, turbines, and boilers, as well as for transmission and distribution infrastructure.

Instrumentation and Control:Specifying, selecting, and configuring instrumentation and control devices, including sensors, actuators, and controllers.

Automation and SCADA:Designing and implementing automation systems and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems for remote monitoring and control of power plants and substations.
