Job Description:
A Safety Officer in coal mining is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, adhering to regulations, and promoting safe practices within the mine. This involves inspecting the mine, investigating incidents, conducting training, and implementing safety procedures to protect workers and prevent accidents.
Key Responsibilities:

Safety Inspections:Regularly inspect the mine for hazards, including ventilation, dust levels, and mechanical equipment.

Incident Investigation:Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Safety Training:Provide safety training to employees, including on-site and vocational training, and ensure they understand safety procedures and protocols.
