Job Description:
A Food and Beverage (F&B) Attendant is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring smooth operation of the F&B area, and supporting the kitchen staffThis role involves a range of tasks including taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and handling cash. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: 
    Greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages promptly and efficiently. 
  • Table Management: 
    Setting tables, clearing used tables, and ensuring the dining area is clean and well-maintained. 
  • Order Accuracy: 
    Ensuring correct orders are delivered and promptly, checking orders on collection from the kitchen, and announcing dishes. 
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: 
    Maintaining the service area, assisting with cleaning duties, and ensuring all areas are well-maintained. 
  • Cash Handling: 
    Handling cash and transactions, operating cash registers, and following cash handling procedures. 
  • Product Knowledge: 
    Possessing knowledge of menu items and beverages to assist customers in making choices. 
  • Support to Kitchen: 
    Supporting kitchen staff with tasks as needed, such as preparing beverages or assisting with basic food preparation. 
  • Function Support: 
    Assisting in the setup and service for functions, events, or meetings. 
  • Other Duties: 
    Performing other duties as directed by management, such as restocking items or cleaning specific areas. 
Required Skills:
  • Customer service skills: Friendly, approachable, and able to handle guest requests and concerns. 
  • Communication skills: Able to communicate effectively with guests, kitchen staff, and other team members. 
  • Basic math skills: Able to calculate bills and handle cash transactions accurately. 
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. 
  • Time management and multitasking: Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Attention to detail: Ensuring accurate order delivery and maintaining cleanliness. 
  • Food safety and hygiene knowledge: Understanding and adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations. 

Experience: Candidate must 2+ years of experience in F&B service department of a good resort or hotel. 

Education: 10th/12th class pass with degree/diploma in hotel management would be preferred.
