Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with over 1 year of experience in designing and executing automated test scripts. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing concepts, a passion for quality, and hands-on experience with test automation tools. Knowledge of Python is a strong added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases for web and backend applications

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality deliverables

• Identify, document, and track defects in the defect tracking system

• Contribute to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) testing processes

• Analyze test results and report issues or bugs

• Participate in requirement reviews, test planning, and documentation

• Maintain test environments and troubleshoot test failures

Required Skills:

• 1+ years of experience in QA Automation

• Experience with any automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Basic knowledge of Python (or other scripting languages) – added advantage

• Experience in writing and executing test scripts

• Understanding of REST APIs and backend testing

• Familiarity with version control tools like Git

• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Exposure to continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)

• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation

• Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA or similar

• Understanding of manual testing and test case documentation
