Job Title:

Collection Officer – Real Assets

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and follow up on overdue payments from clients/tenants.

• Contact customers via phone, email, and in-person visits to resolve outstanding accounts.

• Develop repayment plans and negotiate settlements in alignment with company policies.

• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and communications.

• Liaise with legal and property teams on escalated or legal recovery matters.

• Prepare regular collection reports and aging analysis for management review.

• Review lease agreements or sales contracts to determine payment obligations.

• Recommend accounts for legal action or write-offs, as necessary.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and ethical standards in all collection efforts.

• Assist in improving collection processes and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in collections, preferably in real estate or asset-based industries.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and leasing documentation.

• Proficient in MS Office and collection software (e.g., CRM, ERP systems).
