📒 Job Description: Junior Accountant

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Reports To: Senior Accountant / Finance Manager
Job Type: Full-time

📌 Key Responsibilities:

• 📥 Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments)

• 🧾 Maintain ledgers, journals, and other accounting records

• 🧮 Assist in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements

• 💳 Handle bank reconciliations and petty cash management

• 📑 Process invoices, bills, and employee expense claims

• 🧾 Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings

• 📊 Support internal and external audits

• 🗂 Maintain organized records and backup of all accounting data

• 🕵️‍♂️ Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies

• 📆 Help with monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings

🎓 Requirements:

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting or Finance

• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience

• Basic knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, or any accounting software

• Understanding of accounting principles and tax compliance

• Strong attention to detail and time management

• Good communication and organizational skills
