Job Summary:

We’re looking for a Purchase Manager to oversee buying raw materials, equipment, and services for our iron and steel manufacturing operations. You’ll build strong supplier relationships, negotiate for the best prices, and ensure materials arrive on time to keep production running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase raw materials like iron ore, coal, and scrap metal.

• Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers.

• Manage supplier relationships and evaluate performance.

• Work with inventory and logistics teams to maintain stock levels.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• 5+ years of purchasing experience in the iron and steel industry.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Good understanding of supply chain management and raw material sourcing.
