Job Description:
- Manage the end-to-end export and import process, including shipment booking, documentation, and customs clearance.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and handling of export licenses up to EODC (Export Obligation Discharge Certificate).
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely clearance and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, export-import regulations, and company policies.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Handle payments related to shipping, duties, taxes, and other logistics expenses.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments such as procurement, finance, and warehouse.
- Resolve any issues related to shipment delays, customs holds, or documentation discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all export-import transactions for audit and compliance purposes.
- Stay updated on changes in international trade policies and recommend process improvements.
- Well versed with ICE Gate & DGFT handling.
- Sound knowledge of HSN.
