Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Professional Chef with proven expertise in American-Italian cuisine to join our culinary team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in menu creation, kitchen operations, and team leadership, with a passion for delivering authentic and modern fusion dishes. Experience working in upscale restaurants or hotels is preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and presentation of high-quality American-Italian dishes, including  starters, salads, gourmet burgers, signature pastas, and artisanal pizzas.

  • Develop, update, and cost innovative menus tailored to local preferences while maintaining authenticity.

  • Ensure all dishes meet high culinary and presentation standards, following hygiene and food safety guidelines (HACCP).

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food prep, quality control, stock management, and cleanliness.

  • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and consistency.

  • Coordinate with procurement for sourcing premium ingredients, both local and imported.

  • Monitor kitchen budget, food cost, and waste control to meet profitability goals.

  • Stay updated on global culinary trends and integrate them into the menu when relevant.

  • Collaborate with management on seasonal or promotional menu planning.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.

  • Minimum 5–7 years of professional chef experience, with at least 3 years specializing in American-Italian cuisine.

  • Proven experience in menu development and costing.

  • Previous work experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is an advantage.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene, safety standards, and international culinary practices.

  • Proficiency in managing diverse kitchen teams in a multicultural environment.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.


Preferred Certifications:

  • HACCP / Food Safety Certification

  • Culinary certifications from recognized institutions (Le Cordon Bleu, CIA, etc.)

  • Arabic language skills (optional but preferred)
