Quality Controller
Job Description:
The Quality Controller ensures that all products meet established quality standards by monitoring production processes, inspecting raw materials, and conducting final product checks. This role plays a key part in maintaining product safety, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Inspect raw materials and packaging for quality compliance.
Monitor production stages to identify defects or deviations.
Conduct final inspections to ensure finished products meet quality standards.
Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
Coordinate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and company quality policies.
Support internal and external quality audits.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality assurance.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in quality control within dairy, food, or FMCG sectors preferred.
Knowledge of quality standards such as FSSAI, ISO, or HACCP.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to shift timings.
Strong observational skills and keen attention to detail.
Good understanding of hygiene, safety, and food quality standards (e.g., FSSAI, HACCP).
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Good communication skills for reporting and coordinating with teams.
Basic to intermediate proficiency in using computers.
Comfortable with MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word, for data entry and report generation.
Ability to use digital tools for recording inspection data and maintaining quality records.
Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably within the dairy, food processing, or FMCG industry.
Hands-on experience with product inspection, quality testing, and monitoring production processes.
Familiarity with food safety standards such as FSSAI, HACCP, or ISO is preferred.
Experience in maintaining quality documentation and preparing reports.
