Production Engineer (Panel Manufacturing)

Job Description:

Role Purpose
To plan, coordinate, and supervise production activities related to control panel manufacturing and automation
systems, ensuring timely delivery, optimum resource utilization, adherence to quality standards, and continuous
process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Execution  Plan daily and weekly production schedules as per project

timelines.
 Ensure timely completion of control panels and automation
systems.
 Monitor production targets and minimize delays.

2. Shop Floor Management

 Supervise panel assembly, wiring, and machine building
activities.
 Allocate manpower effectively based on workload.
 Ensure smooth workflow and coordination between
departments.

3. Technical Supervision  interpret electrical drawings, GA drawings, and wiring

diagrams.
 Guide technicians during assembly and wiring processes.
 Troubleshoot production-related technical issues

4. Material & Inventory Coordination

 Coordinate with stores for availability of materials and
components.
 Monitor material consumption and reduce wastage.
 Ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.

5. Quality & Safety Compliance

 Ensure adherence to quality standards during production.
 Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections and testing.
 Implement safety practices and maintain 5S on shop floor.

6. Process Improvement

 Identify process gaps and suggest improvements.
 Reduce rework and improve productivity.
 Support implementation of lean manufacturing practices.

7. Reporting & Documentation

 Prepare daily production reports.
 Maintain production records and documentation.
 Provide regular updates to management.

Educational Requirements
Required bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Preferred Diploma,Be,Betech
