Job Description:

Garments Production Manager – Job Profile

 

The Garments Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production process in a garments manufacturing facility. This includes planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to standard quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning & Execution:
    • Develop and implement weekly and monthly production plans based on order requirements.
    • Monitor daily production progress to ensure adherence to schedule.
    • Coordinate with cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing departments.
  • Specific experience of products handled on floor / factory:
    • Having experience of stitching bottom weight, i.e., cargo paint , safari suits .
    • This is keep keep in mind Army Uniform and heavy fabric stitching
    • With experience of stitching export garments such as Knitted Polo neck t shirts Round neck t shirts,  Gents under garment, similar to Jockey brand range 

 

  • Team Management:
    • Lead and manage production supervisors, line leaders, and workers.
    • Conduct training and performance evaluations of production staff.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and workplace safety.
  • Quality Control:
    • Work closely with the Quality Assurance department to maintain consistent quality standards.
    • Ensure production lines meet required quality checkpoints and standards.
  • Resource Management:
    • Optimize use of manpower, materials, and machines.
    • Monitor inventory of raw materials and accessories needed for production.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
    • Introduce lean manufacturing or other best practices as appropriate.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in garment manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of garment production processes (cutting, sewing, finishing, etc.).
  • Proficiency in production planning tools and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Factory floor and office-based role.
  • May require extended hours during peak seasons.
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Age: less then 45 years

Salary : USD 1800  - USD 2000 + other perks
