Garments Production Manager – Job Profile
The Garments Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production process in a garments manufacturing facility. This includes planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to standard quality specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement weekly and monthly production plans based on order requirements.
- Monitor daily production progress to ensure adherence to schedule.
- Coordinate with cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing departments.
- Specific experience of products handled on floor / factory:
- Having experience of stitching bottom weight, i.e., cargo paint , safari suits .
- This is keep keep in mind Army Uniform and heavy fabric stitching
- With experience of stitching export garments such as Knitted Polo neck t shirts Round neck t shirts, Gents under garment, similar to Jockey brand range
- Team Management:
- Lead and manage production supervisors, line leaders, and workers.
- Conduct training and performance evaluations of production staff.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and workplace safety.
- Quality Control:
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance department to maintain consistent quality standards.
- Ensure production lines meet required quality checkpoints and standards.
- Resource Management:
- Optimize use of manpower, materials, and machines.
- Monitor inventory of raw materials and accessories needed for production.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Introduce lean manufacturing or other best practices as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in garment manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of garment production processes (cutting, sewing, finishing, etc.).
- Proficiency in production planning tools and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
- Factory floor and office-based role.
- May require extended hours during peak seasons.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Salary : USD 1800 - USD 2000 + other perks
