DM PLANT AND LAB INCHARGE - BILASPUR
Job Description:

Plant Operation and Maintenance:
- Monitoring the performance of the DM plant, including water quality parameters (e.g., conductivity, pH, silica levels).
- Ensuring the plant operates efficiently and produces water that meets specified quality standards.
- Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment.
- Maintaining detailed records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and water quality data.

Laboratory Management:
- Overseeing the operation and maintenance of the laboratory, including calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
- Conducting chemical and microbiological analysis of water samples.
- Preparing standard reagents and solutions.
- Maintaining inventory of lab supplies and chemicals.
- Ensuring the laboratory operates according to safety standards.

Supervision and Training:
- Supervising plant operators and laboratory technicians.
- Training plant personnel on laboratory methods and safety procedures.

Quality Control:
- Ensuring the DM plant operates within required standards and that the water produced meets specified quality requirements.
- Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures for lab analysis.

Reporting and Compliance:
- Preparing reports for management and regulatory agencies.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations.

Other Duties:
- Responding to customer complaints and analyzing water samples as necessary.
- Developing and amending standard operating procedures.
- Collecting samples and performing other related duties as assigned.
