iOS/macOS Security Specialist
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Perform in-depth security research on iOS and macOS systems, including the XNU kernel and
sandbox mechanisms.
• Reverse engineer Apple binaries and firmware components such as Mach-O, dyld, and
KEXTs.
• Develop jailbreak techniques, kernel exploits, and system-level bypasses.
• Contribute to the creation of internal tools for fuzzing, debugging, and exploit validation on
iOS/macOS targets.
• Monitor changes to Apple’s security architecture and provide impact assessments.
Eligibility:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Security, or Embedded Systems.
• Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, and ARM64 assembly.
• Experience with reverse engineering tools (Frida, Ghidra, Hopper, LLDB).
• Strong understanding of Apple’s iOS/macOS security model and architecture.
• Familiarity with iOS kernel internals, sandboxing, and memory management.
Desired Eligibility:
• Experience in jailbreak development or iOS kernel extension analysis.
• Research contributions to Apple security bug bounty or open-source exploit repos.
• Knowledge of SEP, boot ROM, or Apple Secure Enclave internals is a plus.
