Job Description:
Responsibilities:
  • Developing and Implementing Quality Control Systems:
    Creating and maintaining quality control procedures, standards, and specifications for tile production. 
     
  • Overseeing Inspections:
    Managing and conducting inspections of tiles at various stages of production (raw materials, in-process, final product) to identify defects and deviations from standards. 
     
  • Analyzing Data and Reporting:
    Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement. Creating reports and presentations for management. 
     
  • Leading and Training Staff:
    Supervising and mentoring a team of quality control inspectors, providing guidance on quality standards, and conducting training sessions. 
     
  • Collaborating with Other Departments:
    Working closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of the manufacturing process. 
     
  • Managing Supplier Relationships:
    Collaborating with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality requirements and establishing quality standards for incoming materials. 
     
  • Ensuring Compliance:
    Ensuring that the tile production process adheres to relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies. 
     
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Identifying opportunities to improve the quality control process and implementing corrective and preventative actions to minimize defects and waste.
