Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair:
    Conducting routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions, and implementing preventative maintenance plans. 
     
  • Operational Efficiency:
    Monitoring system performance, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. 
     
  • Troubleshooting:
    Identifying and resolving issues with equipment and systems, often requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
     
  • Safety and Compliance:
    Ensuring all operations adhere to safety regulations and company standards, often involving safety inspections and adherence to compliance protocols. 
     
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, generating reports on system performance, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders. 
     
  • Teamwork and Collaboration:
    Working with other engineers, technicians, and operators to ensure smooth operations and effective problem-solving. 
     
  • Budget Management:
    Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs, managing budgets, and identifying opportunities for cost savings. 
     
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Identifying opportunities to improve processes, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency. 
     
  • Specific tasks may include:
    • Performing quality inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. 
       
    • Responding to equipment breakdowns and coordinating repairs. 
       
    • Monitoring and managing inventory of spare parts. 
       
    • Developing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules. 
       
    • Analyzing performance data and identifying areas for improvement. 
       
    • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence. 
       
    • Communicating with contractors and vendors for maintenance and repair services. 
       
    • Ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently. 
       
    • Keeping accurate records of all maintenance activities. 
       
    • Participating in safety meetings and training sessions. 
       
Required Skills:
