Lead Environment Health Safety (EHS) Gadag, Karnataka and Jamjodhpur Gujarat
Job Description:
The EHS Lead will be responsible for implementing and managing
environmental, health, and safety protocols across multiple wind energy project sites.
The role ensures compliance with occupational health standards, conducts risk
assessments, and promotes environmental awareness while leading safety initiatives.
This position requires frequent travel between project locations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure regulatory
compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis to identify potential safety risks.
- Perform site audits, inspections, and compliance monitoring to maintain safety
standards.
- Lead and conduct safety training programs and workshops for employees and
contractors.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 45001/14001 and other industry standards.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and implement
corrective/preventive actions.
- Monitor and report on environmental and occupational health standards across
sites.
- Facilitate mock drills, emergency response planning, and crisis management
exercises.
- Maintain EHS documentation, MIS reports, and regulatory submissions.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of safety and environmental
responsibility.
