Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and technical direction of a cloud-based application for an energy software company in Katy, Houston. This is a hands-on, short-term contract role ideal for someone with 10–15 years of experience who can provide architectural oversight and mentor a mid-sized development team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and guide the architecture of a cloud-native application built on .NET with a React or Angular frontend.
• Collaborate with a team of 6–7 developers to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Provide hands-on architectural guidance and conduct code/design reviews.
• Align technical decisions with business goals and project timelines.
Required Skills:
• 10–15 years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of .NET platform and frontend frameworks (React or Angular).
• Experience building and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, document architecture, and mentor engineers.
