Job Description:

Division: US Accounting
Job Location: Office, Ahmedabad (Work from Office ONLY)
Job Timings: 03.30 PM to 12.30 AM IST – Monday to Friday

(When Daylight saving ends – 04.30 pm to 01.30 AM IST)

Job Designation: Senior Financial Analyst
Qualifications: Chartered Accountant
Experience: 3 to 5 years Post Qualification (preferably in international accounting only)
Industry: Construction or Construction Auxiliary industry experience is preferred
Job Description:
The role will be part of the US Accounting division and primarily responsible for our client’s
accounting and financial reporting. Key responsibilities include managing the general
ledger, revenue and cost accounting, financial reporting, regulatory compliance support,
and audit preparatory support.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records for assets, liabilities,
revenues, and expenses.
• Ensure proper classification, coding, and reconciliation of financial transactions in
accordance with GAAP/IFRS and industry-specific guidelines.
• Track and analyse direct and indirect costs, including all operating expenses, taxes,
and depreciation, depletion, and amortization.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Provide variance analysis and explanations for financial performance metrics.
• Ensure support for compliance with regulatory requirements governing financial
reporting, tax filing etc.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry
regulations affecting financial operations.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits and
reviews of accounting records.
• Prepare audit schedules, respond to inquiries, and address audit findings on time.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives to support continuous improvement
efforts, system enhancements, and process optimization within the finance and
accounting function.
Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to work beyond normal scheduled work hours as necessary
• Works well under pressure and able to meet deadlines
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
• Working knowledge of accounting tools in the Construction industry is an
advantage. Knowledge of CMiC ERP Software will be preferrable.
• Reliable, driven, self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good understanding of GAAP/IFRS
Other Skills:
- Good communication - Written & spoken English is MUST!
- Working exposure to MS Office especially MS Excel is MUST!
