Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Accounts Executive with hands-on expertise in debit and credit entries and day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the double-entry bookkeeping system and will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting internal controls.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and reconcile all debit and credit transactions accurately in the accounting system.

  • Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure correctness of entries.

  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, adjustments, and reclassifications.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor/customer ledger maintenance.

  • Perform bank, cash, and account reconciliations.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.

  • Monitor and ensure proper classification of expenses and revenues.

  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing accurate documentation and entries.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory and internal accounting policies.

  • Coordinate with other departments to gather supporting documents for financial entries.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 1–4 years of relevant experience with strong command over debit and credit accounting.

  • Sound knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles.

  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
