Job Description:

 

Role Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and result-driven General Manager – International Marketing with deep domain expertise in medical-grade consumables, silicone tubing, and biopharma-related products. The ideal candidate will spearhead Ami Polymer’s global expansion, drive key account acquisition, and ensure profitable growth through targeted market strategies across the US, Europe, and emerging markets.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Market Development

  • Develop and implement region-wise strategies for international sales and marketing of consumables, silicone tubings, and single-use biopharma products.
  • Identify and expand presence in regulated sectors like biopharma, life sciences, diagnostics, and medical devices.
  • Lead pricing strategies, brand positioning, and market penetration plans aligned with business goals.

2. Customer and Channel Management

  • Build strong engagement with global OEMs, biopharma companies, and channel partners.
  • Lead technical and commercial discussions for new projects, validations, and supply agreements.
  • Establish long-term distributor relationships and set up regional sales networks with clear KPIs.

3. International Travel & Exhibitions

  • Should have travelled to countries including:
    USA, Germany, France, Italy, UAE, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Brazil, Colombia, and China.
  • Represented the company in leading international trade shows and exhibitions s
  • Generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term business opportunities post-exhibitions.

4. Product & Technical Expertise

  • In-depth knowledge of:
    • Biopharma-grade tubings (Platinum cured silicone, TPE, etc.)
    • Single-use assemblies and consumables
    • Sterile, cleanroom-compliant components
  • Understand end-user needs in sterile processing, fluid transfer, and bio-containment applications.

5. Sales Target Ownership & Performance Management

  • Full P&L responsibility for international markets.
  • Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets; ensure quarterly and annual goals are met or exceeded.
  • Use CRM and ERP systems to manage the sales funnel, conversion ratio, and order fulfillment cycle.
  • Lead a target-driven team culture with clear performance metrics and continuous coaching.

6. Regulatory & Export Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with FDA, CE, ISO, and other applicable international medical and pharma standards.
  • Supervise documentation, global logistics coordination, and export-import procedures.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven track record in international sales of medical or biopharma consumables, tubing systems, or high-purity components.
  • Experience working with cleanroom-grade products and sterile-packaged solutions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and multicultural leadership capabilities.
  • Target-focused, agile decision-maker, and commercial acumen with deep market insights.
  • Exposure to regulatory-sensitive markets and high-value customer segments.
