Job Description:



Qualifications and Skills:


4-5 years of experience in Engineering & Design Department, with proficiency in Solid works
software.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of product standards and regulatory requirements.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Experience in process improvement, cost-saving initiatives, and risk analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
 Review customer specifications and develop design drawings using Solid works and
Simulation software in line with internal design norms and customer requirements.
 Visit customers/suppliers for queries, technical presentations, etc., based on business
needs.
 Study literature, technical books, and attend conferences to stay updated on
competitors' offerings and market needs.
 Prepare estimates for total cost and production. Prepare techno-commercial offers for
submission to customers.
 Discuss technical queries with team members to reduce submission time.
 Brainstorm with team members to evolve optimum and cost-effective designs and
manufacturing processes.
 Communicate product designs with production and planning teams as required.

 Observe plant processes during routine product stages or troubleshooting.
 Identify projects for potential cost savings and profitability, evaluating project viability
through cost-benefit analysis.
 Prepare detailed component drawings using 3D modeling and 2D CAD software
(Solid works).
 Prepare bill of material and assembly drawings for order execution team.
 Issue work orders for order execution and coordinate with relevant teams for qualitative
and timely production.
 Conduct kick-off meetings with operations team to review new specifications and design
concepts.
 Document, track, and analyze design changes for effective implementation.
 Support in hazard identification, risk analysis, and mitigation plans.
 Visit exhibitions to gain information on industry improvements and innovations.
 Stay updated with the latest manufacturing techniques and drawing standards.
 Coordinate with production and cross-functional teams for training on new/modified
processes.
 Maintain a knowledge database including pre-bidding questionnaires, post-supply
issues, and technical reference documents.
 Prepare plant-wide standard operating procedures for manufacturing processes.
 Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-
conformance.
 Prepare monthly management information system reports to align with departmental
and individual goals.
 Maintain design data integrity and confidentiality.
 Track and document non-conformance reports for improvements.
 Vital skills for the job.
 Can communicate and get along with the team.
 Able to work independently and effortlessly manage tasks.

Qualifications :


 Minimum B. E. Mechanical required.
 Extra certifications that are relevant are beneficial.
