Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Toner Refilling Support & Vendor Coordination:
Coordinate with vendors for toner requirements for various printer models and ensure timely refilling and replacements. - Printer Support:
Provide support for network, local, and shared printers for all users across the organization. Troubleshoot and resolve any printer-related issues. - System Troubleshooting:
Address day-to-day system issues and ensure timely resolution. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for any application or system-related problems faced by users. - Reporting:
Submit daily reports to the IT Head, including a call log in a separate Excel sheet, and update status on allocated tasks. - Internet Services:
Troubleshoot and resolve any internet connectivity issues on users’ systems to ensure seamless network access. - Operating System & Application Installation:
Install operating systems and necessary applications on users' systems as per instructions. Ensure all systems are updated and functioning as required. - Printer Driver Management:
Regularly update printer drivers to ensure compatibility and proper functionality. - IP Configuration:
Configure IP settings on users' systems as directed by the IT Head, ensuring systems are properly connected to the network. - Maintenance & Reporting:
Maintain a toner replacement report, including page count details for printers that support this feature. - System Failure Resolution:
In case of system failures in any department, resolve the issue promptly. If hardware failure is detected, notify the IT Head and facilitate necessary replacements. - Mobile Phones & Application Support:
Provide IT support for company-issued mobile phones, including email configuration and troubleshooting of applications. - Regular OS & Application Updates:
Regularly update OS patches and ensure all systems and applications are activated with the correct license keys provided by the IT Head. - Device Allocation Support:
Mark and configure new devices as assigned to users, ensuring proper setup and functionality. - User Support & IT Assistance:
Assist users with various IT-related tasks and provide support wherever possible to ensure efficient work operations. - Support to Group Companies:
Provide IT support across all group companies (Asthavinayak, Shubham Office, Siddhivinayak Yard) to ensure consistent IT performance. - Timely Issue Resolution:
Ensure all IT-related issues are resolved in the shortest time possible, minimizing downtime. - System & Application Performance Management:
Provide support for systems or applications that are hanging or underperforming, ensuring smooth operation of all IT infrastructure.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of computer systems, operating systems (Windows, Linux), printers, networking, and troubleshooting techniques. - Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with users and other departments, providing clear and concise instructions and solutions. - Problem-Solving Skills:
Proactive in identifying issues and providing effective solutions in a timely manner. - Teamwork:
Ability to collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and management to resolve issues and improve processes. - Adaptability:
Ability to work across different systems, software, and technologies as required.
Educational Requirements:
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) will be a plus.
