Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, agile, and business-oriented HR leader to join us as Associate Vice President – Human Resources. The AVP HR will be responsible for building and leading scalable HR practices, driving the full employee lifecycle, ensuring statutory compliance, and fostering a high-performance and people-first culture.

This role demands hands-on execution combined with strategic HR leadership, ensuring consistent operational excellence aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.

Preferred Profile:

  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing HR strategies in a high-growth environment (BPO, Shared Services, ITES preferred).
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to manage remote and diverse teams.
  • Highly adaptable, resilient, and proactive leadership style. Open to immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period.
  • Willing to work in US Shift (7 PM to 4:30 AM) 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic HR Leadership
  • Partner with Site Lead and Business Heads to drive strategic HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Create and implement HR strategies across talent acquisition, development, engagement, and retention.
  • Build scalable HR frameworks and SOPs to support growth.
  1. HR Operations Management
  • Oversee daily HR operations and ensure standardization of HR processes across business.
  • Monitor metrics: attrition, attendance, payroll inputs, engagement, grievance management, and compliance.
  1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams to ensure effective workforce planning and timely hiring.
  • Drive initiatives for sourcing, onboarding, and retention aligned with project needs.
  1. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
  • Design and execute engagement programs that foster belonging, collaboration, and productivity.
  • Lead periodic engagement surveys, feedback mechanisms, and open house forums.
  • Promote a performance-driven and inclusive work culture.
  1. People Operations & Payroll Inputs
  • Oversee and validate attendance, leave, overtime, shift allowances, and other payroll-related inputs during each monthly cycle.
  • Ensure employee master data accuracy in HRMS systems.
  • Support audits, compliance checks, and statutory filings.
  • Partner with Payroll and Finance teams for seamless salary disbursements and query management.
  1. Performance Management & Leadership Development
  • Drive quarterly and annual performance appraisal cycles.
  • Work on succession planning, HiPo (High Potential) identification, and leadership development pipelines.
  • Coach and mentor HRBPs and functional managers on people management best practices.
  1. Compliance, Audit & Risk Mitigation
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, industry regulations, and internal HR policies.
  • Manage external and internal HR audits, preparing centers for compliance checks.
  • Act as the escalation point for HR-related risks, employee grievances, and legal issues.
  1. Team Leadership & Capability Building
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing HR team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and accountability within the HR team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience including leadership roles.
  • Expertise in end-to-end HR management, statutory compliance, HR automation tools (HRMS), and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • High adaptability, strategic thinking, and execution focus.

Work Schedule, Location & Salary

  • Timings: Night shift (flexibility expected based on business needs).
  • Location: Hyderabad (Work from Office)
  • Days: Monday to Friday (occasional weekend engagement based on critical activities).
  • Compensation: Competitive and aligned with leadership benchmarks (Flexible).
  • Both Side Cabs - pick and drops
