Hiring for General Manager for Healthcare industry based at Ahmedabad

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee and grow our healthcare business operations in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to drive business growth by leveraging existing strengths, optimizing resources, and building a high-performance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the existing healthcare business

• Ensure efficient implementation of management controls and operational processes

• Monitor and enhance performance through a structured Performance Evaluation System

Business Expansion & Growth

• Identify and execute opportunities for business expansion within the healthcare sector

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance market presence

• Build partnerships, collaborations, and networks to drive business development

Finance & Compliance

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and cost control

• Ensure proper functioning of the Management Information System (MIS) and reporting mechanisms

• Handle liaisoning with government bodies, industry associations, and stakeholders

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals

• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

• Drive management information evaluation systems to support decision-making

Candidate Profile:

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field (MBA preferred)

• Experience: Minimum 10 years in the Healthcare Industry (Hospital administration, diagnostics, healthcare services)

• Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong operational and strategic management capabilities

  • Expertise in finance, compliance, and process optimization

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and business development strategies

  • Ability to “get things done” through effective team management
