Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Work Permit Receiver (WPR – Electrical) for electrical operations at substations, overhead lines, and towers in Aramco projects. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in Aramco safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and electrical isolation/energization procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure and manage electrical work permits for substation and high-voltage tower operations in compliance with Aramco procedures.
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and task-specific briefings in line with SAEP-99 and the Aramco Safety Handbook.
- Execute and monitor LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) processes, temporary grounding, and isolation protocols.
- Coordinate closely with Safety Officers, Engineers, and PTW Coordinators to maintain zero-incident environments.
- Supervise safe energization and de-energization of electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, and HV cables.
- Ensure compliance with PDI 50 and related electrical safety and inspection standards.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and logs related to permit status, JSA, LOTO, grounding, and energization records.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a WPR – Electrical in Aramco projects.
- Must hold Aramco-approved WPR Certification for electrical scope.
- Strong understanding of Aramco’s SAEP-99, GI standards, and permit-to-work systems.
- Knowledge of grounding practices (PDI 50), safety isolation, and electrical testing.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Strong focus on safety and risk mitigation in high-voltage environments.
- Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus).
