Job Description:
A Security Officer's primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of a designated area and its occupants. This involves deterring criminal activity, monitoring surveillance systems, patrolling premises, controlling access, and responding to emergencies. They are the first line of defense against theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
Key Responsibilities:

Deterring Criminal Activity:Preventing theft, vandalism, and other crimes through a visible security presence and active monitoring.

Access Control:Monitoring and controlling access to the premises, verifying visitors, and ensuring only authorized personnel enter.

Surveillance:Monitoring CCTV cameras, alarms, and other security systems to identify potential threats and suspicious behavior.

Patrolling:Regularly patrolling assigned areas, both internal and external, to identify and address potential security risks.

Emergency Response:Responding to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, taking appropriate action, and coordinating with relevant authorities.

Incident Reporting:Maintaining detailed records of incidents, suspicious activities, and security breaches, and preparing reports for management.

Enforcing Rules and Regulations:Ensuring compliance with security policies, procedures, and regulations.

Customer Service:Providing assistance to visitors and employees, offering directions, and ensuring a safe and secure environment.
