Role Overview
A leading cosmetics and personal care manufacturer is venturing into the D2C space with its own brand. They are seeking a strategic and creative Marketing & E-commerce Lead to drive this exciting journey — someone who blends brand storytelling with data-driven marketing, and who understands the intricacies of both online and offline retail.

Key Responsibilities
• Customer Insight & Pain Point Mapping: Identify brand strengths and align them with customer needs (delivery, packaging, product experience, etc.).
• Target Audience Definition: Define and validate target audience through direct interactions and behavioral insights.
• Data-Driven Marketing: Leverage analytics (LTV, CRO, bounce rates) to inform marketing decisions and optimize campaigns.
• Market & Channel Opportunities: Identify promotional and placement opportunities across e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, marketplaces) and suggest improvements.
• Competitor & SWOT Analysis: Continuously monitor competitors and brand performance to recommend packaging, product, or positioning enhancements.
• Agency & Planning Coordination: Collaborate with external agencies to develop quarterly marketing plans and ensure alignment with internal teams.
• Creative Collaboration: Foster a culture of innovation and idea-sharing to deliver impactful campaigns.
• Team Development: Build and mentor the marketing team, including involvement in hiring and onboarding as the team scales.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in brand marketing (personal care/cosmetics preferred).
• Strong strategic and analytical skills with a bias for action.
• Proven experience in D2C and e-commerce marketing (Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, etc.).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Innovative thinker, comfortable with calculated risks.
