Job Description:
A fitter, often called a mechanical fitter, is a skilled tradesperson who fabricates, fits, and assembles mechanical components and systems. They work with a variety of materials, including metal, and use hand and power tools to create and maintain machinery, equipment, and structures. Their responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, cutting and shaping materials, assembling parts, conducting maintenance, and troubleshooting issues.
Key Responsibilities:

Fabrication and Assembly:Fitters cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to specifications, often using welding equipment and hand tools.

Blueprint Interpretation:They read and understand technical drawings and blueprints to guide their work and ensure accuracy.
