Position:           Production Head

Location:          Jhagadia nearby Ankleshwar

Experience:      10 - 15  Years

Industries:       Chemical

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end production operations in a chemical manufacturing plant.
• Plan and execute production schedules to meet quality, quantity, and delivery timelines.
• Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting support for Chlorination, Nitration, and Hydrogenation
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, SOPs, GMP, and statutory regulations.
• Monitor process parameters and ensure safe operation of hazardous and exothermic reactions.
• Coordinate with R&D and Process Engineering for scale-up, technology transfer, and new product implementation.
• Oversee production planning, raw material consumption, yield improvement, and cost optimization.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with QA/QC, Maintenance, EHS, and SCM departments.
• Implement and promote process improvements and operational excellence initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Maintain documentation and compliance for audits – internal, external, and regulatory (e.g., ISO, EHS, GPCB).
• Manage and mentor production teams, ensuring continuous skill development and performance enhancement.
• Ensure optimal utilization of equipment such as reactors, scrubbers, distillation units, and hydrogenation vessels.

Required Skills :-

• Strong expertise in Chlorination, Nitration & Hydrogenation
• Sound knowledge of process safety, HAZOP, and risk management.
• Leadership and team management capabilities.
• Analytical thinking and decision-making under pressure.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production tracking tools.

Required Qualification: - B.Sc/M.Sc/B.E/B.Tech - Chemical
