Stores Executive – Chemical Plant
Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage daily store operations including receipt, storage, and issue of materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records, GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), and issue registers.
• Maintain documentation of inward/outward materials, GRN, stock registers, and related
MIS reports.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of chemicals in compliance with statutory and company
guidelines.
• Implement inventory control practices (FIFO/FEFO) and conduct periodic stock audits.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and accounts for timely material flow.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports on inventory, stock levels, and consumption.
• Monitor housekeeping and safety measures in the store area.
Key Requirements:
• Graduate/Diploma in any discipline (specialization in Materials Management preferred).
• 2 to 4 years of experience in stores/warehouse management; chemical industry experience is
an added advantage.
• Knowledge of inventory control systems, ERP/SAP/Tally is an advantage.
• Familiarity with chemical handling, storage norms, and safety protocols.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
