Dy. Manager/Manager – Maintenance
Job Description:
Attend Daily morning /DWM meeting and conduct departmental meetings.
Reviewing the maintenance logbook daily.
Plan and achieve daily and monthly breakdown and preventive maintenance schedule.
Review and carry out daily breakdown activities as per priority and ensure that equipment is
available for production.
Find out/highlight & address the deviations if any.
Do departmental audit and find out about gaps to improve skill level and Impart on the job training
for the team members.
Prepare & send daily maintenance MIS report to the management with necessary details and
analysis.
Implement why why analysis and do the CAPA for breakdowns for more than one hour.
Ensure the proper deployment of work to the team members & ensure team enthusiasm.
Reviewing and maintaining minimum critical spares stock availability of major machines to avoid
production loss /downtime.
Preparing maintenance annual budget.
Identify the critical machines & ensure 100% uptime.
Categorize the spare parts and check availability.
Maintain records of MTBF & MTTR and achieve target set by the management.
Maintain machine breakdown history cards.
GIN authorization, inspection and verification of materials.
Maintaining iso documentation, calibration records and inspection and testing of lifting and
handling equipment
Adherence 100% PM activity as per Monthly/annual schedule.
Maintain data of utility consumption as part of MIS & draw the inference.
Extending Support for new machine installation, commissioning and erection.
Lesioning with Govt and outside parties like electricity board, calibration suppliers etc.
Reviewing and maintaining consumption data like diesel, water electricity ,oil etc.
Raise indent for machinery and spares and send to purchase dept.
Getting quotations for machinery and spares and making comparison for negotiation.
Preparing and presenting MRM data monthly.
Receiving, Storing & Disposing hazarders & Non hazarders waste on timely basis
Impart on the job training for the team members.
Doing PMS of team members and submitting to HR
Preparing & Achieving Department Objective
Compliance adherence to TQMS, EHS,5S as per requirement & maintain the records
Practicing And Recording all legal and pollution board norms accordingly.
Any other assignments deployed by the management as per requirement
Educational Background and Work Experience:
BE in Electrical Engineering, Industrial & Production Engineering. More than 15+ Years Relevant Experience in maintenance dept.
