Project Engineer
Job Description:
The ideal candidate should have deep experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction of pipelines.
Essential duties:
o He shall be fully familiar with and aware of international codes and Standards.
o Responsible to Monitor day to day Project activities and assist Project Manager in achieving the target and Project
objectives.
o Responsible for monitoring and supervising the assigned project downstream team.
o Review Design package of each phase until issuance of IFC design drawings and MTO's, and Quantity verification.
o Coordination with Engineering and procurement department for follow up / resolution for ease and facilitate for
Constructions.
o Responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the technical aspects of project with Project Manager, Planning
Engineer and Construction Manager as applicable.
o Responsible for resolution of construction issues in terms of preparing technical query in coordination with Project
Manager and Engineering Dept and Construction Team.
o Participating in client/contractor meetings and initiating resolving. Prepare MOM’s
o Preparing / Review of daily / weekly progress report, Construction two weeks look ahead plan and reporting to
Construction Manager / Project Manager,
o Fluent in Project letters Drafting, Addressing to Various stakeholders.
o Monitor and control of sub- contractors for daily construction activities adhering with QHSE requirement.
o Ensure all construction activity are in line with project quality plan.
o Foresee clients' requirements and be able to provide appropriate best solutions.
o Responsible and oversee all onsite and offsite overall Projects activities such as but not limited to:
Laise Planning, Scheduling, Project Control and resource management.
Engineering Management,
Procurement Management,
Construction Management
Sub-Contractor Management and Control.
QHSE Management to monitor compliance with schedule, quality, Safety and within budget.
Coordinate and direct Project Team for all project phases of Execution.
managing project administration define the mechanism, monitor and Control.
maintaining an awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects / Stakeholders and their impact.
Identifying and obtaining support and advice required for the management, planning and control of the project.
Conducting a periodic project evaluation review to assess how well the project was managed and for further
improvement.
preparing any follow-on action recommendations.
Supervise Selecting tools, materials and equipment and establish track inventory.
Review the work progress on daily basis.
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
Direct for Plan ahead (Monthly, Weekly) to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
Meet contractual conditions of performance.
Laise with QHSE and ensure Standard Compliance.
