Vice President – People & Culture

Location: Kanpur

Role Overview

The Vice President (VP) of People & Culture will be a key member of the leadership team,

responsible for building and executing the organization’s people strategy. This role will oversee

all aspects of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, organizational development,

employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, compensation & benefits, HR operations, and

compliance. The VP will act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior leaders, shaping the

workforce and culture to support growth and performance.

Key Responsibilities

 Define and lead the People & Culture strategy aligned with business objectives.

 Partner with the CEO and leadership team as a trusted advisor on all people matters.

 Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development.

 Build a high-performance, inclusive culture that values diversity, equity, and belonging.

 Lead employee engagement and well-being initiatives to enhance retention and

productivity.

 Oversee compensation, benefits, and HR operations with a data-driven, compliant

approach.

 Champion organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.

 Ensure policies and practices meet legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

 10+ years of progressive HR leadership, with 5+ years in a senior executive/CHRO/Head

of People role.

 Proven track record in HR strategy, talent management, culture building, and

organizational development.

 Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and evolving workforce trends.

 Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

 Experience driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) programs.
