Job Description for Accounts Executive:

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

Position Overview: 

The Accounts Executive will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and
enforcing proper accounting processes, management information systems
(MIS), and compliance with legal practices to ensure timely and accurate
financial operations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can
provide essential accounting support to internal departments and manage
various financial tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting Processes and Compliance:
 Develop and maintain robust accounting processes and procedures.
 Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
 Enforce proper accounting practices to maintain accuracy and timeliness
in financial reporting.

2. Internal Support:
 Provide accounting support to various internal departments as needed.
 Collaborate with team members to address financial queries and
requirements.

3. Financial Procedures Implementation:
 Develop and implement accurate procedures for payments, receivables,
collections, and statutory and tax payments.
 Conduct variance analysis for tracking customer orders and financial
discrepancies.

4. Technical Proficiency:
 Utilize computer programs such as Tally Prime and Advanced Excel
for accounting tasks.
 Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financialsoftware.

5. Petty Cash and Bank Reconciliation:
 Manage petty cash funds effectively.
 Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank
statements and company records.

6. End-of-Period Processes:
 Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
 Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and the
general ledger.

7. Coordination with Head Office:
 Coordinate daily with the Head Office Accounts and Audit Team.
 Complete and update accounting work on a daily basis to ensure
accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications and Experience:
 Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or related fields.
 Educational qualification: Graduate or Postgraduate in Accounting,
Finance, or a related discipline.
 Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP9 and should have
hands on experience in TALLY PRIME and Advanced Excel.
 Strong knowledge ofstatutory compliance including GST, IT Returns, and
TDS.
