Position:          Maintenance Fitter

Location:         Silvassa

Experience:      1 - 2

Industries:       Steel

Responsibilities:      

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, including conveyors, rolling mills, pumps, gearboxes, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose faults and repair breakdowns promptly to minimize production delays.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.
• Dismantle and assemble equipment and components with precision using appropriate tools.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and complies with company and legal health and safety standards.
• Lubricate machines and replace worn parts as per maintenance schedule.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or production lines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and parts used.
• Collaborate with electrical and instrumentation teams as needed.
• Suggest and implement improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.

Required Skills:

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team
• Willingness to work in shifts and during plant shutdowns
• Basic computer knowledge for maintenance logging/reporting (preferred)

Required Qualification:- ITI - Fitter    

Salary :- Upto 3.00 LPA
