Position:         Planning Engineer

Location:        Daman

Experience:    2 - 3 Years

Responsibilities:

• Review rolling plan & plan for long delivery items to ensure availability of the material well in time.
• Workout material requirement against production plan based on BOM.
• Follow JIT concept to control inventory.
• Work out raw material requirement based on monthly project planning & for stock to get rate benefits in consultation with planning executive.
• Review PO / work orders along with data sheets to understand project specific requirements if any to plan for the appropriate material & get approval for the
• same, if necessary, from concerned person prior to procurement.
• Closely monitoring & follow up for odd / non-standard material requirements to ensure availability in time.
• Coordination with purchase & stores department for tracking material status against material requirements as well as project delivery schedule to ensure material availability in time.
• Analysing technical drawings & forward cost estimation towards project specific requirements after approval by planning executive.
• Review raw material requirement WRT BOM for various components & work on standardisation of RM to minimise variety of RM sizes towards material procurement considering reduction in wastage.
• Set ROL for raw materials as well as standard bought out & consumable items for the procurement based on consumption pattern & raise the indents accordingly.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of engineering drawings.
• Keen eye for details to meticulously monitor project specific requirements
• Inventory management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Microsoft projects.
• Able to work with ERP system.
• Strong in communication & feedback.

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical

Salary :- Upto 3.60 LPA
