Job Description:

The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for driving online sales growth, managing the digital storefront, and ensuring a seamless customer experience across all e-commerce platforms. This role combines strategy, analytics, and creativity to optimize website performance, grow traffic, and build brand presence in the digital space.

Key Responsibilities

  1. E-Commerce Strategy & Operations

    • Develop and execute e-commerce strategies aligned with business goals.

    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the online store(s).

    • Manage product listings, pricing, inventory, and promotions.

  2. Website & Platform Management

    • Ensure website (and marketplaces like shopify, nayka, Myntra, etc. if applicable) is up-to-date and optimized for conversions.

    • Coordinate with design and technical teams to enhance user experience (UI/UX).

    • Monitor website analytics, track KPIs, and implement improvements.

  3. Digital Marketing & Sales Growth

    • Work with the marketing team to drive traffic via SEO, SEM, paid ads, and social media campaigns.

    • Plan and execute e-mail marketing campaigns, influencer collaborations, and affiliate programs.

    • Analyze customer behavior to increase repeat purchases and improve conversion rates.

  4. Customer Experience & Service

    • Ensure smooth order fulfillment, shipping, and return processes.

    • Monitor customer feedback and resolve escalations to maintain high satisfaction levels.

  5. Data Analysis & Reporting

    • Track sales, performance metrics, and ROI on campaigns.

    • Provide insights and recommendations to management for growth opportunities.

  6. Team & Vendor Coordination

    • Coordinate with internal teams (design, marketing, logistics) and external vendors (marketplaces, couriers, agencies).

    • Train and supervise junior e-commerce staff if applicable.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in design/fashion.

  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.) and marketplaces.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.).

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
