QUALITY ENGINEER FOR FABRICATION INDUSTRY - DUBAI

Job Description:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards by identifying quality gaps, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). The role involves continuous improvement, inspection processes, documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry and customer standards (e.g., ISO, IATF).

🧪 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and procedures for manufacturing processes.

• Perform root cause analysis and resolve quality-related issues using 8D, 5 Whys, or Fishbone Diagram.

• Coordinate PPAP, FMEA, APQP, and MSA activities for new and existing products.

• Monitor and analyze in-process inspection results, reject trends, and production line issues.

• Develop control plans and inspection criteria based on engineering drawings and specifications.

• Conduct internal and supplier audits in accordance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards.

• Maintain calibration systems for measuring and testing equipment.

• Work closely with engineering, production, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.

• Lead and participate in continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma initiatives.

• Document findings, prepare reports, and present data-driven insights to management.

🎓 Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related engineering field.

• 2–5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Familiarity with quality tools: 5S, SPC, CAPA, FMEA, Control Plans.

• Proficient in using quality and statistical software (e.g., Minitab, Excel).

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant standards.

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
