Frontend Team Lead (Angular / React + Node.js)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Team Lead with expertise in Angular or React, and solid
hands-on experience with Node.js. The ideal candidate will lead a frontend team, collaborate with
backend and design teams, and ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable
applications. The candidate should have a strong background in payment gateway integration,
real-time data updates, and API design.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of frontend developers.
• Design and implement responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance web applications.
• Work closely with backend teams to ensure seamless API integration.
• Integrate and manage Payment Gateways (PayPal, Stripe, etc.).
• Implement social sign-in (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Implement real-time data synchronization using Socket.IO.
• Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Manage project timelines, delegate tasks, and ensure timely delivery.
• Support and guide junior developers with their daily tasks.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams for smooth execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with at least 2+ years in a lead role.
• Strong expertise in Angular (v8+) or React.
• Good understanding of Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, and how APIs should be built according to requirements.
• Experience in Payment Gateway Integration (PayPal, Stripe).
• Knowledge of Social Sign-in integration.
• Experience with Socket.IO for real-time applications.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Karma).
• Exposure to GraphQL and microservices architecture.
• Prior experience in leading cross-functional teams.
