Position:        Sr. Manager - Accounts

Location:       Daman

Experience:    7 - 8 Years

Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Financial Operations:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely closure of books on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions as per applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP).
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Analyze financial performance and recommend action plans to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and production-related financial reporting.
• Compliance & Taxation:
• Ensure statutory compliance related to TDS, GST, Income Tax, ROC filings, etc.
• Liaise with internal/external auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Manage direct and indirect tax matters and coordinate with consultants and authorities as needed.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Monitor budget vs actual variances and drive cost control initiatives.
• Work with the operations team to create realistic financial models and forecasts.
• Team Management & Coordination:
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring skill development and process improvements.
• Implement SOPs and internal controls to streamline processes and minimize risks.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales departments for financial data accuracy.

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws.
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging industry is mandatory.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Tally Prime / Oracle).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.

Required Qualification: - B.Com/M.Com

Salary :- Upto 7.00 LPA
