Position:           Asst. Manager/Dy. Manager - Product Lab

Location:          Vapi

Experience:      5 - 7 Years

Responsibilities:     

• Plan, supervise, and execute testing activities for molded and chrome-plated plastic components (e.g., adhesion, gloss, thickness, environmental, dimensional, etc.).
• Review and interpret test methods such as ASTM, ISO, IS, and OEM-specific standards.
• Ensure timely calibration and maintenance of lab equipment (e.g., spectrophotometers, cross-cut testers, gloss meters, thickness gauges, salt spray chambers, etc.).
• Maintain accurate test records and prepare test reports, analysis, and presentations for internal and customer requirements.
• Lead and guide lab technicians in test planning, execution, and safety protocols.
• Handle customer audits and visits related to lab capabilities.
• Coordinate with production, QA, and R&D teams for continuous product and process improvement.
• Implement and monitor ISO/IATF 16949, ISO 17025 (if applicable) systems in the lab.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for test failures or deviations.
• Ensure adherence to EH&S (Environment, Health & Safety) and good housekeeping practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of plastic molding processes and chrome plating quality parameters.
• Good understanding of material testing, chemical analysis, and coating performance tests.
• Familiarity with quality systems like IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 17025.
• Proficiency in MS Office, lab software/tools, and data interpretation.
• Effective team management, documentation, and communication skills.

Required Qualification:- B.E/B.Tech - Polymer/Mechanical/Chemical
