Job Description:
• Continuously monitor the health and performance data of HV/MV switchgear, power transformers,
and protection relays using SCADA, and other monitoring platforms.
• Schedule and oversee the execution of a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule for all
switchyard and AC side equipment
• Schedule and supervise routine / Specialized electrical tests to ensure the health of equipment.
• Maintain a detailed log of all maintenance activities, test results, and asset history. Prepare technical
reports for the Site Manager and corporate Asset Management team, highlighting key findings,
recommendations, and maintenance forecasts.
• Utilize data from previous commissioning tests and ongoing monitoring to identify trends and predict
potential failures. Develop and execute predictive maintenance plans to prevent unplanned outages.
• Lead the investigation and RCA for any failures or underperformance on the AC side, from the
inverters to the Point of Interconnection (POI). This includes detailed analysis of fault data, event
logs, and protective relay operations.
• Act as the technical lead for all corrective maintenance activities, providing guidance to site
technicians and contractors.
• Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure safe and efficient switching operations and to
minimize production losses during maintenance activities.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for external maintenance contractors and OEMs. Review their
work and ensure it meets safety and quality standards.
